70 and Counting - A Journey into the Hidden Glen
It was a matter of days before storm Dudley arrived, followed by the record breaking ferocity of storm Eunice. Plans to paddle a remote selection of lochs with a sizeable portage in between were abandoned for fear of being stranded in what was deemed as the 100 year storm. Instead, we’d heard about a secluded body of water south of our location, Scotlands most beautiful glen. With secret islands and flanked by snow capped summits as far as you could visibly witness we attempted to locate the glen. Before the duo of storms arrived, and leaving as the first winds of 70mph swept through, we found our paradise. Journey supported by Sidetracked Magazine, NRS and Bending Branches paddles.
