Greenland - Qilaat Expedition - Exploring Inuit Hunting Culture

The Qilaat Expedition was a truly unique undertaking. Under the tutoring of Inuit hunters Ian and a small team traversed eastern Greenland to understand modern Inuit life alongside the future of ancient hunting traditions. The expedition relied solely on traditional means of dog sled as a way of travel using naturally harvested food resources. Ian and the Inuit hunters also took time to explore extremely remote and untouched regions of ice to understand warming arctic conditions.

Ian's post expedition writing entitled "Changing Climate, Shifting Culture" can be read here: Hunters Moon
